If you’ve decided I’m the right fit for you, you will let me know what package makes the most sense for your day and I will then send you over an invoice for the deposit ($800) and a contract to fill out. Once you’ve completed both of those things, it’s official! Yay!

Once your date is secure, the fun begins! You let me know a time of year you’d like to set up your engagement session, and we can brainstorm together to find the best location and date for you. We spend about an hour together during your engagement session and you get back a beautiful gallery of images in 2 weeks.

Have you ever shot at my venue before?
I’ve shot at so many wedding venues through the years - from country clubs to ballrooms to estates to barns to beach weddings to backyard weddings. While I’ve shot at a lot of local venues, there are some I haven’t shot at yet. But I can promise you this - a big part of my job is being able to shoot in any lighting situation and being able to adapt quickly to new environments.
Oftentimes I will scope out a new venue on their website and social media beforehand just to get a bit familiar with it before I arrive so I can have a general understanding of your venue. But otherwise, I’m constantly shooting at new venues and I honestly feel more creative in a new space!
What should I do with my hands?
I never expect you to show up to your session knowing what you should do or how to pose. I guide you through everything - through fun prompts and games that will elicit natural laughter and smiles out of you, to posing that feels natural and organic (and yes, even what you should do with your hands!) I always encourage you to show up ready to have fun and interact with your partner, and I’ll guide you through the rest.
I’ve never had my photos taken before, what if I’m awkward?
I hear this ALL the time! I’ve shot hundreds of couples and most of them have never stepped foot in front of a camera before. One thing that I hear the most often from couples after a session is how much fun they had and how comfortable they felt. I believe this is my special sauce.
How long have you been shooting weddings?
12 years and counting!
Do I really need an engagement session?
I include complimentary engagement sessions in every wedding package I offer. One of the biggest reasons I include them in my packages is so that we can get to know each other before the big day and establish a relationship.
During your engagement session I’m able to find out what works best for you - be it posing, how you interact with your partner, or what makes you laugh. These are helpful tools that I carry with me on your wedding day. Your engagement session almost acts as a trial run - what worked, what didn’t.
Secondly, your photographer is most likely one of one person that is going to be with you from the very beginning of the day until the end - I don’t want to feel like we’re strangers, and having already worked together during your engagement session helps us to get to know each other better so I feel like I’m showing up to meet up with an old friend!
Do you travel?
While I’m based out of NJ, I love to travel! I have custom wedding packages that include travel costs built into the packages. Let me know your destination when you reach out and I can build you a custom proposal.
How many images will I receive?
Generally you will receive anywhere from 50-100 edited images per hour on your wedding day. Most wedding days will end up with an average of 700-1000 images depending on how big your day is and how many hours of coverage you have. But there is never a maximum amount of images you receive!
What is required to book?
When you’re ready to make it official, I’ll send you over an invoice for deposit which is $800 to book your date. The next step is to schedule your engagement session and then the fun begins!
